Affordable housing threat prompts call for committee
By Amy Reay/Correspondent Tuesday, February 13, 2007 - Updated: 04:28 PM EST DOVER – Dover residents could eventually face having 200 units of affordable housing built within town limits under Massachusetts’ statute Chapter 40B, town officials told a Feb. 7 selectman meeting.

February 12, 2007 THROUGHOUT MASSACHUSETTS, politicians, activists, and the press have been shocked -- absolutely shocked -- by Inspector General Gregory Sullivan's assertion that builders of some affordable housing developments overstated their costs to hide profits. Some have called for more regulation and greater oversight. A better response would be to change the system to make it less tempting to lie.
